Allen James age 57, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011 at River Region 
Hospice in River Ridge. 

He was a veteran of the United States Navy on the USS Goldsboro in the Vietnam 
War, American Legion Post 366 and VFW Post 3337, Norco Volunteer Fire Department 
and an Eagle Scout.

He is survived by two children; Sara and Jason James. Two brothers; Michael and 
Warren James and his mother Lois Mae James. Four grandchildren and a number of 
nieces and nephew and a host of friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Herbert Allen James.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 
H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco and will continue on Wednesday, April 20, 
2011 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in 
Norco. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am from the church with 
Fr. Terry Becnel officiating. 
Military Honors will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan.
