LAMBERT, LEO J., JR.

Leo J. Lambert Jr., 80, passed away on Aug. 28, 2011 at St. James Parish 
Hospital.

He was a veteran, member of the Knights of Columbus, member of Lutcher 
Quarterback Club, Usher at St. Joseph and St. Michael Parish Churches, Lutcher 
Volunteer Fire Firefighter and was a retired operator with Shell Oil of Norco.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Ernestine V. Lambert, five sons, 
Michael (wife Tessa), Mark (wife Edie), Milton "Bud" (wife Sharon), Melvin 
(wife Patrice) and Myron (wife Paula); a daughter, Linda Thibodeaux (husband 
Craig "Tiger"), 16 grandchildren: Hillary, Tyler, Hannah, Tanner, Ashley, 
Raelynn, Mason, Kelsi, Maggie, Reed, Rory, Mallory and Matthew Lambert, Jessica 
L. Harvey (husband David) of Covington, and Jaci and Trey Harrison; two step-
grandchildren, Andree and Whitney Thibodeaux; and great-grandson, Ryder 
Lambert. 
He is also survived by five step-grandchildren: Bailey, Keegan, Chandler, 
Bentley and Karson Thibodeaux; two sisters, Grace Talimine (husband Jesse) and 
Gloria Carpenter (husband Fred); and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Leo J. Lambert Sr. and Ella Bourgeois 
Lambert.

Services were held Aug. 30, 2011 at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Paulina with 
Fr. Vincent Dufresne. 
Burial followed in the church cemetery.
