NAQUIN

ALVIN PIERRE NAQUIN, 93, passed away on March 15, 2011 in Luling.

He was the beloved husband of Emily Lyons Naquin, father of Merlin Naquin (wife 
Doris), Myron Naquin (companion Jackie Perkins), Sandra Orgeron (husband Larry) 
and Karen Landry (husband Robert); son of the late Victor and Pauline Ledet 
Naquin and stepson of the late Felicia Dupre Naquin, brother of Willard Naquin, 
Julia Adams, Dora Lee Authement, Olivia Hunt and the late Lionel, Philip, Gus 
and Lucille Naquin, Victoria Savoie, Cecile Naquin, Aline Matherne, Murphy 
Dupre, Marcus Dupre and Allen Dupre; grandfather of 12, great-grandfather of 14 
and great-great-grandfather of two. 

He was a native of Pointe Au Chien and a resident of Des Allemands. 

He was retired from Texaco after 36 years of service.

Relatives and friends were invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gertrude 
Catholic Church in Des Allemands on March 19, with interment following at St. 
Gertrude Cemetery. 

Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements.
