Don Joseph Sardenga, Sr. age 66, passed away on Monday, May 23, 2011 at 8:29 am 
in Baton Rouge, La. He was retired from Bunge Grain Elevator.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Diane Ancale Sardenga. Son, Don Joseph 
Sardenga, Jr.(Michelle) and daughter, Lori Ann Sardenga.Brothers; Clarence 
(Linda) Fleetwood, Jimmy (Nana) Fleetwood, Edward (Joan) Fleetwood, the late 
William Billy (Jerry) Fleetwood and Danny Fleetwood. Sisters; Vickie Sardenga, 
JoAnn Sardenga SaLyers(Doug), Mary Sardenga Falvey, Marie Gilligan, Ann (Donald) 
Henritz and Tammy Fleetwood. Six grandchildren; Brock, Ethan, Brandon, Brianna, 
Braeden and Tony Sardenga. His Godchild, Laine Campbell and a number of nieces 
and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Victor Louis Sardenga and Isabelle 
Morales.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at 
H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco and will continue on Thursday, May 26, 
2011 from 9:00 am until 12:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 
pm at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan with Fr. Bru officiant. 
Burial will follow in the church mausoleum.
