Schexnayder, age 80, passed away on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at her residence. She was a graduate of Destrehan High School and a secretary with the St. Charles Parish School Board and worked with St. Charles Parish Water Works for over 10 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Burton "Chief" "Socko" Schexnayder, Sr. and is the mother of Morgan (Lahonda) Schexnayder, Cheryl (Randy) Deslatte, Teryl (Susan) Schexnayder, Kerry (Barbara) Schexnayder, Sr., Burton Schexnayder, Jr., Bryan (Joan) Schexnayder, Sr. and Richard (Bobbi) Schexnayder. Sister of Aleta Engeron, Thelma Aranyosi and Louis "Buddy" Brock, Jr. Seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis Pierce, Sr. and Corinne Relimpio. One brother, Elridge "Boo" Pierce and sister, Jackie Pierce. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco and will continue on Monday, October 3, 2011 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan. Mass of Christian will be held at 11:00 am at the church with Fr. Tom McCann. Burial will follow in the church mausoleum. Arrangements under the direction of H.C.
