Myra Madere Vass joined Her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 11, 2011 in Houston 
Texas. 

A native of Hahnville, Louisiana she was born on September 30, 1933. She was a 
graduate of Hahnville High School, class of 1951. She had resided in Destrehan, 
Louisiana for several years and was a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo 
Catholic Church.

Myra will be greatly missed by her 6 children, Patti Babineaux Chigoy (Thomas), 
Ricki Babineaux, Lauri Babineaux Stuart (Thomas), Wesley Babineaux (Mary 
Falgout), Geralyn Babineaux Hosmer (Chris), Darren Babineaux , 14 grandchildren, 
6 great grandchildren and 3 siblings , Anna Russell , Donald Arnold, and Dean 
Arnold.

She was the wife of the late Eldon Vass by second marriage, and the late Joseph 
Babineaux by First Marriage.
She was preceded in death by her Father, Wilton Madere, Stepfather Wesley E. 
Arnold and Mother Beatrice Gourgues Arnold.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at 
St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, LA on 
Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Followed by interment in St. Charles 
Borromeo Mausoleum. 
Visitation will on Wednesday morning from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Church.
