A resident at Twin Oaks nursing home, she lived in Laplace, Louisiana for the past 14 years. She was preceeded in death by her husband Joseph Levy Braud and parents Leonard Heltz and Thelzia Descareaux and 5 brothers and 2 sisters. She is also survived by 2 sisters, Margaret Ryan and Hazel Forsythe and many neices and nephews. Loving mother of Sandra Braud Hoffpauir (Hazen), Louis Levy Braud (Anne), and Lionel Leyton Braud (Betty). Grandmother of Pamela B. Lamprecht (Karl), Roger A. Braud (Holly), Kristine H. Falletta (David), Karin H. Andre, Lionel Braud, Susan Gould, and Rick Gould. Great grandmother of Kristopher, Kaylah,Emily, Khyle, Karlee, Gabby, Marshall, Aaron, Angela and Joshua. Visitation for family and friends will be held at Alexander Funeral home 821 Fourth Street in Norco, Louisiana on Friday June 1, 2012 from 6PM to 9PM and again on Saturday morning after 8 AM until followed by a funeral mass at 9:30AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church 401 Spruce Street in Norco, LA.
