Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2012 and click on the name of interest. ========== Felix Kenneth Champagne, age 82, passed away on Sunday, January 08, 2012 at Ochsner Foundation Hospital in Jefferson. He graduated from LSU in 1950 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry, a veteran of the United States Army in the Korean Conflict. He was an assistant Scout Master with BSA Troop 323 in Luling. Following his retirement from Texaco in 1990, he was able to fully pursue traveling, gardening and fixing things. He is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Yvonne Troxler. Son, Michael K. Champagne, Sr. (wife Heloise) and daughter, Mary Elizabeth Dupuy (husband Cullen). Grandchildren: Ryan Dupuy, Elizabeth Champagne and Michael K. Champagne, Jr. Three brothers: Ernest "Red," Hubert and Seth Champagne. Also survived by many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth T. Champagne, parents; Ernest Felix Champagne and Pearl Vicknair. Brother, Howard Champagne and sisters; Pearl C. Frankel and Mary Champagne. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at the church with Father B. Francis officiant. Burial will follow in the Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft. The family wishes to express special thanks to the ICU Staff at Ochsner Hospital for the care and love shown. Arrangements under the direction of H.C.
