Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2012 and click on the name of interest. ========== Cheryl Jean Waguespack Clay, of Norco, La, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, was called to heaven at the age of fifty-two on Friday, December 30, 2011. Cheryl was the wife of Fred Ronny Clay, and mother of Ashley Clay Moran (Michael), and Fred Elijah (Eli) Clay. She had two beautiful granddaughters, Amelia and Penelope Moran. She is preceded in death by her father, Maurice J."Mackie" Waguespack. Survived by her mother, Patricia O. Waguespack; her sister, Lisa W Young (Chris); brothers, Maurice "Reese" Waguespack (Lynnie) and Wade Waguespack (Laura). Cheryl was the daughter-in law of Virginia O. Clay and the late Fred O. "Toad" Clay; sister-in-law of Roger "Bud" Clay (late Dorothy), Bama Browning (Bob), and a host of adoring nieces and nephews. She was also a second mother to many. Cheryl Clay was a graduate of Destrehan High School and attended the University of New Orleans. She worked for Allstate Insurance Group for many years. Her smile lit up every room she entered and she will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. (NBL) All are invited to celebrate Cheryl's life. Visitation will be at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 401 Spruce St., Norco, LA on Monday, January 2, 2012 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm on and again on Tuesday morning, January 3, 2012 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 am with Father Terry Becnel, celebrant. Interment will be in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan, LA. Arrangements under the direction of H. C.
