CHIASSON August 3, 1919 - January 30, 2012 Alma Chiasson Dasch, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012 at the St. James Hospital in Lutcher. A native of Lafourche Crossing, LA and has lived in Norco, LA for the past 70 years. She was a Pratical Nurse for Dr. Bill Landry for many years. She is survived by her beloved husband of 72 years, Merrill J. "PaPa" Dasch, Sr. Loving mother of Lucy Abate Allen (husband Loyd) and Merrill J. "Jim" Dasch, Jr. (wife Barbara). Daughter of the late Leon Chiasson and Marie Weimer Chiasson. Sister of Helen Rome, Betty Hymel, Bernice Oubre, the late Marie Laque, the late Leon Chiasson, the late Arthur Chaisson, the late Pauline Chiasson, the late Alice Mae Palmisano, the late Pearl Verda and the late Rosmary Chiasson. Grandmother of Laurie Abate Ball, Patrice Abate Millet (husband Mickey), Marcel Abate (wife Penny), Jody Dasch Kling (husband Andy) and Mikel Dasch. Eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St, Norco and will continue on Wednesday, February 1, 2012 from 9:00 am until 10:45 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 401 Spruce St., Norco. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at the church with Fr. Terry Becnel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. ===================
