She was a retired Cafeteria Manager with St. Charles Parish Schools after 20 years. She was the wife of the late Willie Joseph Hymel, Sr., daughter of the late Nellie Troxler and Wilson Brady, mother of Willie (Norma) Hymel, Jr., Morris Hymel, Sr. (Sheila) and Nellie Hymel. Grandmother of Billy Hymel, Veronica Hymel Kleinpeter, Christine Hymel, Morris Hymel, Jr., Douglas Hymel, Johnna Hymel Savoy, Kristin Candies Polito, First Lt. Kelly Candies, Kalyn and Keena Candies, 24 great-grandchildren with one due in November and two great-great grandchildren with one due in September. The sister of the late Hazel Deroche, Wilson Brady and Geraldine Tregre. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 from 8:30 am until 10:45 am at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hahnville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am at the church with Fr. Bernard Francis officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Taft. Arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. ===================
