Rodney Charles "Soot" Waguespack, age 77, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 
2012 in Baton Rouge, LA. 

A United States Army veteran in the Korean Conflict, a graduate of Destrehan 
High School, employed with Shell Oil, the Grain Elevator, horse trainer and a 
home building contractor.

Husband of the late Barbara Smith Waguespack, son of Norman Waguespack and the 
late Almardry Rivet, father of Ann Waguespack, Lew Waguespack and the late 
Mickey Waguespack (wife Patti). Brother of Norma Granier, Allen and Danny 
Waguespack and the late Jerry Waguespack. Grandfather of Chad (Amanda), Derek 
(Karley), Reed, Jayden and Noah Waguespack.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 from 9:00 am until 9:45 am 
at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, LA. 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am at the church with 
Military Honors to follow in the church cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the Southeast Louisiana 
War Veterans Home for their loving care and kindness to their father.

Arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.
