He was the son of Joseph and Betty Bourgeois, Sr. Brother of Joseph (Jay) Bourgeois, Jr. (Robyn), Juliana (Julie) Sciortino (Jason), Valerie Culver (Jake), Adam Bourgeois, Annette Ramsey (Brandes), and Thomas (Tommy) Bourgeois. Uncle of Heather and Jonathan Duhon, Daniel Bourgeois, Joseph, Joshua, & Andrew Culver, and Jason & Zachary Sciortino. Grandson of Charles W. Lambert, Sr., and the late Valerie Adele Lambert, and Woodrow & Lorena Bourgeois. Michael also leaves behind Brittany Roussel, his love. Michael graduated from LSU with a degree in electrical engineering. He was currently using his degree working in the medical field. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to The Crohns and Colitis Foundation of America, www.ccfa.org. Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, LA on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm. Visitation will continue on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 9:00am to 11:45am. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00pm. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.
