Mrs. Ruby Cooper, a longtime resident of New Sarpy, went home into the arms of 
her loving Jesus on May 14, 2013. 

She is survived by her husband Homer Cooper, two children, Eugene Starnes and 
Tammy Duplessis. Also survived by 4 sisters, 3 brothers, 8 grandchildren and 9 
great grandchildren. 

The wake will be held on May 16, 2013 from 7PM-9PM at the First Baptist Church 
in Norco, La. On Friday, May 17, 2013, visitation will begin from 9:30 AM – 
11:00 AM. Services to start at 11:00 AM. 
Interment to follow.
