Nora Tregle Cortez, 61, a native and resident of Des Allemands, passed away on 
Tuesday, May 7 at 9:35 p.m. in Luling.

Visitation and funeral were at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A 
Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church and 

burial followed in St. Gertrude Catholic Church cemetery in Des Allemands.

She is survived by husband Rodney Cortez; mother, Anita Tregle; brothers, Adlar 
Jr., Harry, Dino and Vincent Tregle; sisters, Joyce Matherne and Adaline 
Comardelle and grandchildren, Marissa and Maliry Budzinski.

She was preceded in death by son, Chad Smith; daughter, Dawn Budzinski and 
father, Adlar Tregle Sr.

Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
