Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. until 12 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at Des Allemands Mennonite Church. Religious service took place 12 p.m. at the church with burial to follow ing at St. Gertrude Cemetery. She is survived by her husband Celestine Dempster; sons Irvin Granier and wife Fay, David Granier and wife Trudy; daughters, Adeline Foster and husband Richard and Loretta Landry and husband Earl; son-in-law, Jack Matherne; stepsons, Celestine Dempster Jr., Marvin Dempster and step-daughter, Diana Ledet; 17 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great- grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ivan Felix Granier; daughter, Eleanor Matherne and an infant son; parents Andrew Clefed Dempster and Roselia Folse Dempster; stepson, Cain Dempster and stepdaughter, Sara Dupre; brothers, Wallace, Oliver, Albin and Gillis Dempster and sisters Lovina Dupre, Theresa Wesham, Edith Rome, Rose Blanchard and Antoinette Granier. ===================
