Pierre "Al" Dupleix passed away at his home on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at the 
age of 96. 

A longtime resident of Norco, La, after retirement he moved home to 
Youngsville, La and spent his last years in Destrehan, La. 

He was the beloved husband of the late MaeDel Langlinais Dupleix. 

He is survived by his children; Gloria Roman-Davis(David), Marilyn D. 
Duffy(Warren), Keith Dupleix(Carol Evans), Jimmy Dupleix(JoAnne) and Rhonda D. 
Sutton(Floyd). Grandfather of Rodney, Ernest, Devienne, Natalie, Danya, Davven, 
Monique, Pierre, Juliette, Desiree', Craig, Robert, Jay, Matthew, Blake, Ashley 
and Casey; Great- Grandfather of 18 and two more on the way. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Mabel Dupleix and his two 
sisters Mabel Melancon and Dolores Hebert. 

Al was retired from Shell Oil Refinery. He had a passion for fishing, hunting, 
gardening and of course his fruit trees.

The family would like to thank River Region Hospice and the numerous ladies 
that lovingly cared for their father for the past few years.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a night wake at H.C. Alexander 
Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 from 6PM-9PM. Visitation will 
continue on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church 
in Destrehan, La from 9AM-11AM with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11AM. 

Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
