Clara Dunn Duran, 78, a native and resident of Des Allemands passed away on 
Friday Sept. 20, 2013.

Visitation was held at Samart-Mothe Funeral Chapel in Mathews on Monday from 6  
p.m. until funeral time. Funeral Services were held in the chapel at 9 p.m. 

with a private burial at a later date.

She is survived by her husband, Hermeleo “Joe” Duran Sr.; son, Oscar Duran; 
daughters, Deborah Mauroner, Ramona Pasquale; sister, Marie Rome; nine 
grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Bertha Boudreaux Dunn; son, 
Hermeleo Duran Jr.; brother, Ernest Perez; grandchild, Pasquinel “Creature” 
Duran; and great-grandchild, Chase Duran.

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
