Alexis Marie Hughes passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at the age of 
17. 

She is survived by her mother Tiffany Jorgensen, step-father Daniel DeHarde Sr. 
and her father Alex Hughes. 
Sister of Aaron Hughes and the step sister of Daniel DeHarde Jr. Granddaughter 
of Donna Jorgensen(Vic Cheramie) , the late Raymond Perry, the late Dorothy 
Hughes and Holly and Herb DeHarde. Great- Granddaughter of the late Margaret 
and Edvard Jorgensen. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles; Paul 
Jorgensen, Danyell Jorgensen, Raymond Perry Jr., Robert Perry, Alicia 
Smith(Ryan) and Noelle West(George). 

She will be missed by her large family and many friends. Alexis was an active 
member of the Destrehan High School Choir and a member of Beta Club.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at H.C. Alexander 
Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. Norco, Louisiana 70079 on Saturday, November 23, 
2013 from 11AM till 2PM. There will also be a memorial being put on by her 
friends from Destrehan High School held at the Ormond Plantation at 7PM on 
Saturday, November 23, 2013.

Donations may be made at Capitol One Bank in Alexis Hughes name.
