Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2013 and click on the name of interest. ========== Claire Ann Cospolich Ory, age 70, passed and joined her Heavenly Father on May 13, 2013, in Metairie, LA, surrounded by family and friends. Claire was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 48 years, Glenn Paul Ory. Claire's survivors include their three sons, Paul Joseph Ory and wife Tanya of Destrehan, LA, Philip James Ory of Kenner, LA, and Donald John Ory and wife Jane of Meadows Place, TX, along with her four grandchildren, Ann Marie Rose and Maria Ibieta of Destrehan and Sarah Elizabeth and Nicholas James of Meadows Place. Claire is also survived by her sister Jeannette Marie Cospolich Fonte and her brother James Donald Cospolich and his wife Shirley. Also survived by her brother-in-law Ernest Jules Ory and his wife Joan and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Claire was the daughter of Clarence James Cospolich and Olga Marie Boudreaux and the granddaughter of Stephen Henry Cospolich and wife Christina Francis Pergolis and Henry Joseph Boudreaux and wife Marie Antoinette Webre. Claire was a native of New Orleans and resided in Meadows Place, TX for the past 40 years, but not a year has gone by without visits to her family and friends in SE Louisiana. A graduate of St. Stephen's High School in New Orleans and a great athlete in her school days, Claire was a loving wife, raised her three sons, and loved to spend time with her four grandchildren. In addition to her family and friends, Claire loved the outdoors, especially birding and fishing. She also loved traveling. Claire and her husband traveled throughout the U. S. and the Caribbean in their retirement years, and after he passed she continued her travels, including driving on her own throughout LA and SE TX. She had the good fortune to be active until the end of her life. She will be missed. Please join us in celebrating a Funeral Mass at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Road, Destrehan, LA, on Thursday, May 16, 2013 at 2:00 PM. Visitation will begin in the church at 12:00 noon.
