Loving and devoted husband and father, married to Marion Madere Pizzolato for the past 62 years. Father of Joey (Margie), Karen, Mary Ann Morgan (Mike), David (Maureen), Elizabeth and Michael (Baz). Grandfather of David, Jr. (Sheree), Laney and Taylor Pizzolato. Great grandfather of Preston David Pizzolato. He is the son of the late Jack Pizzolato and Felicie Vitrano Pizzolato. He is survived by one brother, Thomas Pizzolato, Sr. and was preceded in death by sisters Josephine Bourgeios and Carrie Keller and brothers Jack and John Pizzolato. He was a lifetime resident of Hahnville, Louisiana. Frank is a retired U.S. Navy Veteran. He was an owner of Madere's Garage for over forty years and in his recent years has worked with his grandson David with Cuttin Close Lawn Care. He is a past member of the St. Charles Parish School Board, St. Charles Parish Police Jury, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars. He and his wife reigned as king and queen of Krewe of Lul in 2005. The family would like to express their profound gratitude to Hospice Compassus and especially Lani Fonseca for their excellent care and compassionate support. We would also like express gratitude and appreciation to his nephew Pete Keller for his support and love. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, #1 Rectory Lane, Hahnville, Louisiana. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00am, Tuesday, April 23, 2013. Visitation from 8:30 to 11:00, beginning with family from 8:00 to 8:30. Father Bernard Francis to officiate.
