ROME

Norman Thomas Rome, 66, a native and resident of Des Allemands, died on Friday, 
Feb. 22, 2013

Visitation was held Tuesday at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands. A 
funeral mass was held at the church 

with burial following in St. Gertrude Catholic Church cemetery in Des 
Allemands. 

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Thibodeaux Rome; son, Randall Joseph Rome 
and wife Cary; siblings, Clifford Rome, Nancy Dowouis, Mavis Jones; and two 
granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chefter and Myrtle Fonseca Rome; 
siblings, Herbert Rome and Beatrice Reulet.
