Son of the late Norman Samuel Sr. and Estelle Pierre Samuel. Husband of Josephine Rubin Samuel. Father of Tracy (Russell Jr.) Sorapuru, Deborah S. Pierre, JoAnn (Denaud IV) Roudeze and the late Henry Samuel Jr. Brother of Norman “Veno” Samuel, Ronald Samuel and Riley Samuel, Eula Johnson, Margaret Lumar, Julia Joseph, Lena Pollard and stepbrother of Valentine Melancon and the late Ethel Savoie, Corinne Lumar, Anita Morris and Eunice Smith. Also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. A native of Edgard and a resident of Hahnville. Relatives and friends of the family, also priests and parishioners of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church and all neighboring churches and employees of Cornerstone Chemical, Gardner Realtors, St. Charles Parish Public Schools and the St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court’s Office are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, # 1 Rectory Lane in Hahnville, on Friday, Nov. 29 at 11 a.m. Fr. Bernard C. Francis will serve as celebrant. Interment will be at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Mausoleum in Taft. Visitation at the above named church from 8 a.m. until Mass time. ===================
