He was a native and resident of New Sarpy, Louisiana. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and a member of the I.U.O.E. Local 406, the V.F.W and the U.S Marine Corp. He was survived by his loving wife Gwen Brannon Troxclair of 46 years; his son, Malcolm Troxclair, Jr. (Jesse); two daughters, Stephanie Troxclair Steib (Craig) and Janelle Troxclair Punch (Michael); seven grandchildren, Brittany, Peyton and Jake Steib, Anthony and Aspen Troxclair, and Abigail and Jude Punch; great grandchild, Gaige Troxclair, four sisters, Catherine Waguespack, Patricia Anderson, Janice Beadle (Wayne), and Eliska Mosley (Larry); and brother Vincent Troxclair. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Noah Troxclair; mother, Eliska G. Simon; two brothers, Noah and Thaddeus Troxclair. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St., Norco, La., beginning at 6 PM till 9 PM and at St. Charles Borromeo in Destrehan, LA on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 9 AM until 11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at 11AM. A private interment will be held at later date. ===================
