Caryn was diagnosed with a rare form of brain cancer in November of 2011. After battling with this nasty disease for 16 months, she fell into a painless sleep. She has effectively been healed of cancer and no longer lives in pain. Caryn was a courageous fighter, and shared her journey with the world. She fought with a smile on her face and never let her circumstances waiver her faith. Caryn is survived by her parents, Lester Tucker Jr. and Brandy Tucker, her sisters, Alyssa Wininger and Laney Tucker, maternal grandparents, Joseph and Alice Fonseca, paternal grandparents, Lloyd and Mary Jarreau. Caryn was welcomed into heaven by her paternal grandfather, Lester Tucker Sr. Caryn's celebration of life will be held on Friday March 8, 2013 at Lifehouse Church at 3556 W. Airline Hwy. in Reserve, Louisiana. Viewing begins at 5p.m., followed by a service at 7p.m. Caryn would want this to be a celebration, so we request that everyone wear lime green in honor of her favorite color. In lieu of flowers, please make a small donation to the organization that Caryn started to help other children battling cancer- Prayers for Caryn- or to the organization that sent Caryn on her wish trip- A Child's Wish. Arrangements under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home. ===================
