The beloved wife of 53 years to the late Maurice(Mackie) Waguespack, loving mother of the late Cheryl Clay(Fred), Lisa Young (Chris), Maurice(Reese) Waguespack Jr. (Lynnie), Wade Waguespack(Laura). She was a wonderful example to her 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents Louis and Amelia Schehr Olavarrieta, siblings Delores Donnelly, Louis Olavarrieta Jr., and Ricardo Olavarrieta. Survived by siblings Juanita Heidingsfelder, Edward Olavarrieta, Bonnie Kenny, Ramon Olavarrieta and Anita Smith. Patti was a woman of great faith with devotion to the Blessed Mother; she lived her life serving others. A former employee of the Archdiocese of New Orleans and a parishioner of St. Charles Borromeo where she served on many committees with her true devotion to the St. Vincent De Paul society. Patti was the recipient of the order of St. Louis award. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo in Destrehan, LA on Thursday, April 4, 2013 starting at 9:30 AM till 11:45 AM with a Mass following at 12 noon. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum. A special thanks to the Critical Care staff at East Jefferson General Hospital.
