Gisela Neanust Barre' entered peacefully into heaven on Saturday, February 22, 
2014 surrounded by her loving family. 

Devoted wife of the late James E. "Baby Jim" Barre', Jr. of 49 years.

Loving mother of James E. Barre', III, Andrea "Nonnie" Barre' (Billy Brady), 
Monica Barre' Abadie (Harry, Jr.), Angela "Lovey" Barre' Comeaux (Gary), her 
companion/friend Chickolito J. Barre' and the late Michael Joseph "Bones" 
Barre'.
Proud grandmother of Holly Barre' Landry, Torri Abadie, David Barre', Danielle 
Louque, Mandy Barre', Brandon Barre' and Nina Barre. Great grandmother of 
Austin Landry, Alyssa Landry, Dayton Hession, Cyara Hoffman, and A'Ja Remondet 
Barre'.

Daughter of the late Eina Jeuke Neanust and Frank Neanust. Sister of Wolfgane 
Konig and preceded in death by an older brother and a twin sister. Gisela is 
also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Age 69, a native of Ludwigsburg, Germany and a lifelong resident of Reserve, 
LA.

Gisela worked at West Gibson for several years and retired from Wal Mart after 
25 years working in various department and especially in the Sporting Goods 
Department. 
She enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, fishing, swimming, bingo, 
cooking and being with her German friends group.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic 
Church in Reserve, LA on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at 11:30 am. Visitation 
from 9:30 am until Mass time. 

Interment in St. Peter Cemerty in Reserve.
