Bolejack, 42, of Destrehan, LA, formerly of Topeka, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, September 30, 2014. He was born August 19, 1972 in Topeka, the son of Buford Bud D. and Catherine Marie Tripp Bolejack. He graduated from Topeka High School. He was employed by Dillons (Kroger) Grocery Stores in Topeka for 23 years. Erik and his wife felt a calling to move to New Orleans to serve with GracePoint Church. He was employed by Owens and Minor Medical Supply Company in New Orleans, LA. He was a member of East Side Baptist Church in Topeka and GracePoint Church in Destrehan. Erik married Jennifer Taylor on August 12, 2006 in Tecumseh, KS. She survives. Other survivors include five children, Forrest Bolejack, Taylor Medina, Tristen Bolejack, Alex Medina and Hayden Bolejack all of Topeka, his parents, Bud and Marie Bolejack of Topeka, maternal parents, John and Martha Taylor of Topeka, his grandmother, Adele Bolejack of Greenleaf, KS, his maternal grandparents, Ron and Peggy Taylor of Mountain View, AK, his siblings, Douglas (Rita) Bolejack of Edwardsville, KS, Chris Bolejack of Shawnee, KS, Cindy (Geno) Hefner of Topeka, Bill Crouch of Topeka and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at East Side Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Penwell-Gabel Cemetery. Erik will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Monday, October 6, 2014 at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Erik J. Bolejack Memorial Fund c/o Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave., Topeka, KS 66605. ===================
