Ellis was born on June 9, 1916, in Cypremont, LA, to Charles and Cecilia Bergeron Boudreaux. He was the husband of the late Bernice Bergeron Boudreaux. He is survived by his brother-in-law Gaston P. Bergeron and his wife Elaine T. Bergeron. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Ellis was a Staff Sergeant for the U.S. Army in WWII through North Africa and Italy, later in life he retired from Shell Oil Company. He was a member of American Legion Post 195, VFW Post 3337, 3rd degree K of C Red Church Council 3634, 4th degree K of C Archbishop Blank Assembly 318 and Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco, La., from 9 AM till the time of Mass at 11 AM. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan, La. U.S. Army ===================
