She was surrounded by her loving, dedicated, and devoted children. She was a lifelong resident of Norco, LA. Edna was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a devout Catholic who enjoyed pencil coloring and just spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Beloved wife of the late Louis J. "Red" Carmouche. Mother of Marie C. Tastet (Steven), Marsha C. Jenkins (Jimmy), Marianne C. Polman (Domonic), Michelle, Myron, Marcel "Pie" (Sharon), Mary Margaret, Merlin, and Marshall (Michele) Carmouche, and the late Mark "Toro" and Marlene Carmouche and Myra C. Oubre. Grandmother of Neenah P. Thomas, Whitney P. Catalanatto, Skye Jenkins, Shane, Landon, Aaron, Lacie, Katie, and Clare Carmouche. Great grandmother of Lily, Levi, Xavier and Ziva. Also survived by 2 brothers and 5 sisters and her devoted and faithful friend Kim Abercrombie, a long time friend of the family. Thank you Mom for being our mother for you will forever be in our hearts and you will always be remembered. We will deeply and sadly miss you and we will love you always. Rest in peace, Mom. Relatives and friends are invited to visitation at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco on Monday, March 24, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and continuing on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM at the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Norco by Fr. John Marse. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery ===================
