A graduate of Eustis High School and member of the 2003 State Championship high school baseball team; he perused his dream of becoming a mechanical engineer, where he completed his degree at Kettering University in Mechanical Engineering in addition to belonging to the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Motivated and driven, Jonathan began an internship at UPS South East & Central Region Headquarters and upon graduation, was recruited by the world's largest oilfield servicing company, Schlumberger, in 2008 as a Fluid and Sample and Analysis Field Engineer where he recently received his 5 year award. He is survived by his parents Dr. Phillip and Margaret "Peggy" Holtz Dascher, his fiancée Natasha Brockhaus, sister, Jeanna Zastoupil, nephew Branden Zastoupil, grandmother, Bertha Holtz, uncles; Bruce Holtz(Sue) and Richard Holtz. Cousins; Keith Holtz, Cheri Holtz, Sarah Holtz, Matthew Holtz. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Darlene Sell (Eric), sister-in-law Payton Sell, father-in-law, Timothy Brockhaus and sister-in-law, Narissa (Davis) Kaylor, grandmother-in-law, Linda (Richard) Lindaas and many Great Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Fraternity Brothers, Andrew Cooke along with many, many, childhood friends and numerous family members. Jonathan enjoyed the great outdoors, boating, fishing, remodeling his 1969 Camaro and most of all: hunting with his family in Wisconsin. He loved his friends, family, and his faithful dog, Buck with all he had and will be greatly missed. Services will be held Saturday, December 13, 2014 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church at 2727 South Grove Street in Eustis. ===================
