Jeanette Barrios Ewing, 68, a native of Des Allemands and a resident of Bayou 
Gauche, passed away on Wednesday, April 2.

Visitation was Friday, April 4 at Des Allemands Mennonite church with church 
religious services following. 

Burial was in the Mennonite Cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Matherne; grandchildren, Carli, Robert 
and Austin Matherne; brothers Layman Barrios Jr. and Jarvis Barrios and sister, 
Laura Barrios.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert ÒMoeÓ Ewing and parents Layman 
Sr. and Lena Comardelle Barrios.

Falgout Funeral Homes in charge of arrangements.
