Guglielmo , age 55, a native of Norco, LA and resident of Metairie, LA, died on Monday, March 31, 2014. A visitation will be held from on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. Norco, LA from 9:00 AM until 11:00AM with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11:00AM. A Christian burial will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan, LA. Mark is survived by two sisters: Kathleen Guglielmo Pullaro and husband, Eddie, and Ellen Guglielmo Hufft and husband, Harry: sister in law, Judy Guglielmo: nephews Bryan Pullaro and wife Denise, Matthew Hufft and wife Brooke, and Cary Guglielmo and wife Becky: nieces Jan Pullaro Galvin, Jill Pullaro Bergeson and husband Bobby, Aimee Guglielmo Kinney and husband Jamie, Meghan Hufft Cox and husband, John along with 17 great nieces and nephews: devoted companion Kelli Wilkinson and many friends. He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Lewis "Gig" Guglielmo and Fay Boucvalt Guglielmo and his devoted brother, David Guglielmo. His passions in life were playing the guitar and cheering for the LSU Tigers. Mark was one of the brave young pioneers of open heart surgery for children with severe congenital heart defects and one of the very few that survived a long life.
