Haydel, passed away November 28, 2014. She was born August 1, 1919 in Labadieville, LA. She moved to St. Charles Parish in 1926 and resided in New Sarpy. She has been a resident of Norco since 1949. Mrs. Haydel is survived by her sister Bennie Gonzales of Arabie, her son Kenny, daughter-in-law Anne Guillot Haydel, granddaughter, Ashley, grandson K.J, great granddaughter, Kylie and aunt of seven nephews and a niece. Mrs. Haydel was preceded in death by her parents, Leonie "Pete" and Melodia Keller Leblanc and her two brothers, Francis and Ray. She was very active in her community; Mrs. Haydel was the president of Ladies Altar Society, the American Legion Auxiliary, the Bonnet Carre Garden Club and the Highland Park Extension Club. She also served as president of the Home Extension and was member for 50 years. She also enjoyed being active in the Sacred Heart Bereavement Group, the Norco Civic Association, the Nifty Fifties, and the Norco Seniors group. Any donations may be sent to the Sacred Heart Alter Society, Sacred Heart Church in Norco, LA. Visitation will be Saturday, December 6, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco from 9 AM- 11 AM with a Funeral Mass at 11 AM. Interment will follow at the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan ===================
