Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2014 and click on the name of interest. ========== Ollie Raymond Mauduit, born on August 30, 1929, passed away on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at the age of 84. A native of Abbeville, La and a longtime resident of Norco, La. He was the loving husband of Nelda Mae Lorio Mauduit of 59 years. Survived by his children; Dr. Kent(Robin), Barbara Kenney(Kelvin), Steve(Belinda) and Loren(Melissa). He is preceded in death by his parents Albert Alfred Mauduit and Zelima Gastinel Mauduit, his daughter Denise Theresa, his sister Edith Ortolon and his brother Louis Mauduit. He was the grandfather of Meredith, Matthew, Misty, M'lynn, Hannah, and Emily Mauduit, Steven and Kristen Kenney. Ollie served in the US Army during the Korean War where he received many service medals including; Army of Occupation Medal, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, Bronze Service Star and Overseas Service Bar. He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Yard Boys and the Men of Manresa. He had a passion for wood working, fishing, hunting, but most of all, spending time with friends and his loving family. He will be greatly missed by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 401 Spruce St. Norco, La on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 from 9:00AM till 11:30AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30AM by Msgr. Terry Becnel. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan, La.
