Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2014 and click on the name of interest. ========== Claurette “Coopie” Autin Meyer, 81, died at home on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 12:45 p.m. She was born Sept. 3, 1933 in Napoleonville and grew up in Barataria. Visitation was held the morning of Wednesday, Oct. 15, at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland, followed by religious services at Falgout Funeral Home. Meyer was buried in the Des Allemands Mennonite Cemetery. She is survived by her four children; Ara Marie Meyer, Debra M. Hebert, husband Neil, Alfred Meyer Jr. and Stephen Meyer, all of Des Allemands; one grandson, Lee Stephen Hebert, wife Lindsey and one great-grandson, Levi Franklin Hebert. She was also survived by her siblings, Amy Rojas, Ora Knight, Nada Broderick Mervin Autin, Sr., Yvonne Dufrene and Audrey Autin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred P. Meyer Sr.; parents, Claude Autin and Ara Ohmer Autin and brother, Claude Autin,Jr. Claurette lived a sweet and simple life as a homemaker, taking care of the family she loved. She was a devout Christian who loved telling others about God. Falgout Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements. ===================
