She was born on July 8, 1944 and was a native of St. James. Geraldine was the second of nine children born to the late Mottress and Marie Villavaso. Later in life she met and married Lee Arthur Robinson and from this union were seven children. Geraldine worked at St. Anne General Hospital in Raceland until 1974. She moved to St. Charles Parish and started her employment with St. Charles Parish School Board and later retired after many years. Gealdine was a faithful and devoted member of New Life Family Worship Center and became the Mother of the church in 2012. She leaves to mourn: two brothers, Arthur Morris of St. James and Michael Villavaso of St. James; two sisters, Margie Grays of Gretna and Celestine Villavaso of Marrero; one sister-in-law, Maxine Villavaso; five daughters, Catherine Johnson of Inkster, Mich., Thelma Cummings of Westwego, Cynthia Robinson-Singleton of Boutte, Angela Robinson of LaPlace and Audrey Robinson- Roy of Norco; three sons-in-law, Willie Johnson Jr., Galen Roy and El Ray Singleton; 21 grandchildren; one grand-daughter-in-law; 25 great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren and six godchildren. She is also survived by a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and her New Life family. Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Mottress and Marie Villavaso; husband, Lee Arthur Robinson; sisters, Mary Ann and Maxine Villavaso; brothers, Gerald and Anthony Villavaso, and George Greenup; daughter, Rosa Lee Miller; son, Mac Arthur Robinson; grandson, Jason Robinson and son-in-law Ulysses Cummings. She loved Hahnville High SchoolÕs faculty and students until her departure from this earthly realm. Geraldine had devoted friends that she loved dearly: Sister Louise Champagne, Geraldine Ross White, Pearl Jones and Bernadette ÒCookieÓ Bolden. ===================
