He was a longtime resident of Destrehan, La. Earl was a devoted husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, and great- grandfather. Beloved husband of Daisy Verdi Rodrigue for 60 years. Survived by his children; Belinda Rodrigue, Amber Roussel, Caroline Bleakley, Deanna Cobb, and Earl Rodrigue, Jr. Father-in-law of Cliff Bleakley, Chris Roussel, and Arthur Cobb. Grandfather of Jacqueline, Kimberly (Dallas), Stephen, Jess, Rene, and David. Great-Grandfather of Lily Page. Earl is preceded in death by his parents Rene and Alanda Trosclair Rodrigue and his siblings; Lena Triche, Burris, Curtis, Tennyson and Herbert Rodrigue. Earl was a graduate of Destrehan High School 1953. He was a member of Men of Manresa, Knights of Columbus, St. Vincent de Paul and an usher at St. Charles Borromeo Church. He was the recipient of The Order of St. Louis Award and Catholic Charities Senor Citizen Award. Earl was a retired grain inspector and owner of Louisiana Grain Services. He will be missed greatly by all. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan, La on Thursday, July 10, 2014 from 9:30 AM till 11:15 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:30 AM. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Charles Borromeo Ministry of Care are appreciated.
