Russell F. Schexnaydre Sr. passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. 

Beloved husband of the late Shirley Tastet Schexnaydre, he is survived by his children; Russell Schexnaydre Jr. (Meryl), David Schexnaydre (Chris), Terry Schexnaydre (Sheila), Chris Schexnaydre, Cindy Bonura (Danny), Shirley Schexnaydre, Trudy Borne (Richard), Rochelle Prestenbach and his 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Joy. 

He is preceded in death by his parents Timothy William and Lena Montz Schexnaydre and his daughter Deborah Weber (Ervin). 

Russell was an Army Veteran and a member of the American Legion. 

Visitation will be held Monday, November 3, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco, LA from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM with a funeral Mass at 11 AM. 

Interment will be at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan, LA immediately following Mass.
