Smith Jr. passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the age of 76. He was a longtime resident of Norco, La. Beloved husband of Emily Williamson Smith for 53 years. Father of Shelley(Greg) Maurin, Steve(Karen) Smith, and Allen "Jap" (Becky) Smith III. Grandfather of Rachel, Carly and Alaney Maurin, Adam, Spencer, Sarah and Seth Smith. Son of the late Allen Sr. and Solange Smith. Brother of Ann Elise Kimble, Joycelyn Monica and Phyllis(Larry) Martin. Son-in-law of the late George and Alba Williamson. Brother-in-law of George(Harriet)Williamson, Eleanor Williamson, John Alario(the late Ree), Steve(Myrtis)Fabre and Ken(Myrna) Fabre. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will miss him greatly. Allen was a member of the Holy Name Society, Sacred Heart Church where he served as a Eucharistic minister and President of the Spillway R/C Club. He retired from Cytec after 35 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a night wake at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 401 Spruce St. Norco, La 70079, on Friday, February 14, 2014 from 6PM-9PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at church from 9AM- 10:45AM with a Funeral Mass at 11AM. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.
