Kathleen "Kay" Mary Girnatis Tastet entered peacefully into heaven on Thursday, 
April 10 2014 surrounded by her loving family. 

Devoted wife of the late Lester "Cowboy" Tastet of 40 years. Loving mother of 
Richard Tastet, Brian J. Tastet (Katherine) and Lori T. Caillouet (Keith). 
Proud grandmother of Rachel Tastet, Scott Tastet, Brandon Caillouet, Brayden 
Caillouet and a great grandmother of Michael Taylor Gorman.
Daughter of the late Clara Stranglen Girnatis and Herbert Paul Girnatis. Sister 
of Marilyn G. Pepper. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, 
other relatives and friends.
She also left behind her companions and pets Scrappy, Wishbone and Bella.

Age 75, a native of Omaha, Nebraska and a resident of Destrehan, Louisiana.
"Kay' enjoyed volunteering at St. Rose Elementary School, camping at Yogi Bear 
in Robert, water parks and spending time with her family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Graveside Service at Jefferson 
Memorial Cemetery in St. Rose, LA on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 2:00 pm. 
Interment will follow
