Waguespack ÒGranpa WagÓ , age 103 , passed away on July 16, 2014 at his home. Norman J. Waguespack was born May 18, 1911 in Edgard, La. and was a resident of Norco since 1921 . He started working for Shell Oil in May 1934 and retired as an Operations Shift Foreman after 31 years of service. He was the husband of sweet, loving, beautiful, Almoudra Rivet Waguespack (late wife) for 63 years. He is survived by Norma Granier(daughter) , Allen(son) and Pat Waguespack , Danny(son) and Donna Waguespack ,( brother) Edmond "Buddy" Waguespack. Preceded in death by Emmitt "Bal" Granier (son-in-law) , Jerry Waguespack (son), Rodney Waguespack (son),(brothers) Baby Louis, George, Hubert, Freddie, (sisters) Mabel, Winnie, and Mickey. Granpa Wag had sixteen Grandkids, twenty- seven Great Grandkids, and thirteen Great Great Grandkids. Norman loved gardening; fishing for crabs, shrimp, and crawfish; making awesome white beans; and he was an avid LSU Tiger Fan. Visiting at St. Charles Borromeo Church; 13396 River Road; Destrehan, La.; from 9:30 AM until Mass at 11:00 AM on July 21, 2014. Entombment will follow in the St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum.
