Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2014 and click on the name of interest. ========== Alcide Nicholas Webre, Jr. passed away on Monday October 20, 2014 in Kenner, LA. He was born on July 10, 1932 to Mable and Alcide "Dute" Webre, Sr. and lived in Norco, LA for 82 years. Big Al or Bim, as he was called, worked as a teacher and football coach for over 25 years in the St. Charles Parish School System. Bim loved his sports, but football was his game. He played for the Arizona Wildcats and coached the Destrehan Wildcats. Bim also served in the U S Army as a 1st LT and a tank unit commander. He served until 1958, when he was honorably discharged from active duty and served in the army reserved. He is survived by his sister, Anne Roussel, brother-in- law, Gene Roussel, and the late Evelyn, "Deanie," Webre. He was loved by his special nieces, Stephanie R. Davis, and Laurie R. Townsend (Joey), and nephews, Michael Roussel (Karen), Kevin Roussel, and the late Genie Roussel and Douglas Roussel. He also was loved by great nieces and nephews, Jennifer D. LeBouef (Kirk), Krystal D. Raphael (Raymond), Logan Roussel, Dennis Roussel, Ainsley and Avry Townsend and great- great nephew, Connor LeBouef. Bim will be greatly missed by his longtime friend, Doris Achord. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, with a Catholic Mass to follow at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Norco, LA.
