Charles Joseph "C.J." Alleman passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at the age 
of 71. 

He was the beloved husband of Emelia Benoit Alleman. Father of Juanita Alleman 
DeWint (Dean), Conrad James Alleman (Jeanne), Nina Alleman Ockman (Brant), and 
Gwendolyn Alleman Henderson (Miles). Grandfather of Dustin Ockman, Dillon 
Ockman, Kelsey DeWint, Trent DeWint, Conrad Alleman II, Brittany Buras, and Ty 
Henderson, as well as the late Brandon Ockman and Drake Henderson. Great 
grandfather of Noah Arevelo and Luis Borge III. Son of the late Rita and Wilson 
Alleman Sr. Son-in-law of the late Nina and Maeneil Benoit. Brother of Shirley 
Westerman, Wilson Alleman Jr., Harold Alleman, Carol Delaune, Dora David, 
Farrell Alleman, and Christopher Alleman. 

He was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, and he loved fishing and hunting and 
spending time with his family. 

The family would like to express their special thanks to all those who helped 
care for him along the way.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in 
Paradis on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at the 
church at 8:30 AM. 

Interment will be in St. Gertrude Catholic Cemetery in Des Allemands.
