Eugene C. Baudouin Sr., 94, a native and resident of Hahnville, passed away on 
Sept. 13.

Visitation was held Sept. 19 at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church, Hahnville, followed by a mass 

and burial in Holy Rosary Cemetery, Taft, La.

Baudouin is survived by his sons, Eugene Baudouin Jr. (Debbie), Stephen 
Baudouin (Devra), James Baudouin (Liz); daughters, Kathleen Baudouin, Joy 
Marsolan (Harvey), Mary Jewell (John), Elizabeth Choate (Henry); brother, 
Donald Baudouin; sister, Virginia Mouser; grandchildren, Cherie, Kevin, 
Brittany, Monica, Renee, Ryan, Tyler, Rebecca, Kristy, Patrick, Matthew, 
Allison, Emily, Caroline and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by 
many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Joy Melancon Baudouin; parents, Irby Sr. 
and Virginia Madere Baudouin; brothers, Irby Jr., Waldo, Richard Baudouin and 
sister, Marion Nesanovich.

Baudouin was a World War II Army Veteran and Purple Heart Recipient, and member 
of American Legion and Louisiana Cattleman’s Association.
