She was the loving wife of the late Lawrence X. Boucvalt Jr., together they had three children; Lawrence "Trey" Boucvalt III (Brandi), Jason M. Boucvalt and Allison B. Froeba (Brian). She was the caring grandmother of Lex and Ori Boucvalt. Kathryn is the daughter of the late Donald (Skipper) and Dorothy Denoux. She had many siblings; Dottie Catoire (late Billy), Susan Messer (Mike), Don Denoux (Joanie) and Mike Denoux (Olivia) as well as having many brothers-in-law; Wayne Boucvalt (Marcia), Jobe Boucvalt (Anne), James Boucvalt (Cathy) and the late John Boucvalt. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and numerous family members. Kathy loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved cooking and we will always remember her gumbo and oyster dressing. She was an avid LSU fan and loved attending the football and baseball games. She loved New Orleans brunches and Broadway plays at the Saenger. She spent most of her summers in Grand Isle fishing and looked forward to family gatherings. She loved traveling and her favorite vacation spots were New York and Hawaii. We will remember her for her bravery and strength! She loved life and never gave up! Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at 9:30 AM for family visitation. Public Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 11:30 AM. Interment will take place immediately after Mass at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Metairie. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Inflammatory Breast Cancer Foundation. ===================
