He was preceded in death by his parents Albert Joseph Caillouet, Sr. and Palmire Brignac Caillouet. He was a native of Garyville, LA and a resident of New Sarpy, LA. He graduated from Leon Godchaux High School. He received a BA of Industrial Arts and minor in History and a Masters Degree +30 from Southwestern Louisiana Institute in Lafayette. He worked as an educator in the St. Charles Parish School system for 30+ years. He was a teacher, a principal and he retired as a supervisor of the maintenance at central office. He also served his country in the U.S. Navy, aboard the USS Wichita Heavy Cruiser during WWII in the Pacific. Survived by his wife of 65 years Georgia Trosclair Caillouet. Children; Jackie James (A.J.), Terry Caillouet (Vickie), Sharon Trepagnier (Mark), and Mona Caillouet (Scott). Grandchildren; Deanna LeBlanc (Brad), Jessica Donnaud(Jason), Amy Tyrrell(Pat), Jason Caillouet(Shelly), April Arceneaux(Shane), Jaime Romero(Sean), Jeffrey James(Katie), Tiffany Madere(Ronnie), Lacey St. Pierre(Justin), Travis Trepagnier(Kati), and Jourdan Berthelot. Great grandchildren (21). Siblings; Warner Caillouet, Violet Simoneaux, and Brenda Richard. Preceded in death by siblings Stanford Caillouet, Hilda Adams, and Mary Ellen Caillouet. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church on Thursday, February 18, 2016 from 9:30AM till 11:45AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church cemetery.
