Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stcharles/photos/obits/2016 and click on the name of interest. ========== Mary Nell Branch Dufrene, 81, went to be with the Lord and her loving son, Keith Allen Potter, on March 16, 2016. Dufrene was born in Marked Tree, Ark., on April 20, 1934. She is survived by her son, Tommy Lee Adair (Jenene) of Florida; her daughter, Tammy Potter Switzer (Theo) of Louisiana, and stepson, Donald Lee Potter (Cathy) of Arkansas. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, Alicia Adair, Misty Adair Howard, Jessica Adair Stephens, Danny Joe Adair, Jason Keith Potter, Jacob Lee Potter, River Allen Potter, and Christopher Lee Switzer, Charlotte Potter Patton and the late Chase Potter and 17 great-grandchildren. Dufrene is preceded in death by her son, Keith Allen Potter of Luling; her parents, Ernie and Armetha Branch of Arkansas, four brothers, Edward Branch of Earle, Arkansas, Avery Branch of Marked Tree, Ark., W.R. Branch of Texas and John Charles Branch of Dade City, Fla., and two sisters, Maxine Branch Rye of Black Oak, Ark., and Valine Branch Seals of Winfield, Ala.. Her most memorable jobs were at Kash-N-Karry, Zephyrhills, Fla., and Boutte Bingo Hall, Boutte, where she worked for many years at each location. Her interest included, genealogy, “family,” She was very special to all that loved her and will truly be missed. Her gentle smile, her hugs and kisses, and her love will be kept in our memories and weigh heavy in our hearts. Funeral service was held at Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, Marrero, on March 22. Visitation was held until service time. Interment followed in St. Charles Cemetery, Luling. ===================
