Roy A. Estay, 72, a native and resident of Paradis, passed away on July 23, 
2016.

Visitation was held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, in Paradis. A Mass 
of Christian burial was celebrated at the church 

with burial to follow in St. Charles Cemetery.

Estay is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Merele B. Estay; daughters, 
Pennie Scott (Curtis Jr.), Patty Cortez (Leonard), Rhonda Montet (Jude), Mitzi 
Faucheux (Tommy Jr); 8 grandchildren, Brandon Scott, Cody Scott, Bethany 
Albritton, Chándany Broadus, Ross Montet, Michelle Montet, Camdyn Faucheux, 
Cade Faucheux; 6 great grandchildren, Landon, Levi, Carlyn, Desi, Evelyn, Ava; 
mother, Rose C. Schaubhut and brother, Johnny Estay (Tina).

He was preceded in death by his father, John J. Estay.

In lieu of flowers, masses preferred.
