HEURTIN, LEON J. 
July 13, 1924 - January 21, 2016

Leon J. Heurtin passed away January 21, 2016 at the age of 91. 
A native of Taft, La and resident of Montz, La. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; Leon Heurtin, Sr. and Olivia Zeringue 
Heurtin and nine brothers and sisters. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Shirley Millet Heurtin and his 
children; Derrill J. Heurtin (Pat) and Deborah E. Brannan (Bob), five step-
grandchildren, and special sister-in-law Elaine Millet Matherne, and many 
nephews and nieces.

The family would like to thank Notre Dame Hospice, especially Barbara, 
AnneMarie and Sr. Paula and care giver Sandra Hawkins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Sacred Heart of 
Jesus Catholic Church in Norco, LA on January 25, 2016 from 9:15 AM until 10:45 
AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM. 

Interment to follow at St. Peter's Cemetery in Reserve, LA. 

In lieu of flowers, masses are preferred.
